Around the Borda Pina we can contemplate the presence of wildlife. Some of these observatories, meanwhile, were constructed as police checkpoints and military to detect movements of resistance fighters, smugglers and exiles at different times.

It is important to note that we cannot ensure the visability of the sild fauna round. The dominant and aggressive attitude of man for hundreds of years has led to a natural fear of wild animals who always tries to hide from human contact.

The wildlife, as a defence, has been used it's instinct, perception and sensitivity in improving their ability to detect humans before they are quite localized. Not always succeed, but with binoculars it is relatively easy to see from this vantage point (for example) some of the most extraordinary creatures in the Pyrinées.
